Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 30, 2026. Last updated: May 30, 2026.
This policy describes what data AK Manohar's mobile applications ("the apps") collect, how it's used, and your choices. AK Manohar ("we", "us") is a small organization publishing a lineup of apps on the Apple App Store and Google Play.
Each individual app's listing on the App Store and Google Play includes a privacy nutrition label or data safety section specific to that app. This page is the umbrella policy that applies across all of our apps.
Short version
- Most apps are free and supported by third-party advertising. Some apps offer an optional paid membership that removes ads.
- When ads are shown, our advertising partners may collect device identifiers (such as the Advertising ID) and limited technical data to deliver and measure those ads.
- We do not sell your personal data.
- Content you create inside an app (notes, settings, preferences) is stored on your device unless you opt in to cloud sync.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising in your device settings at any time.
Information we and our partners collect
Content you create in the app
Notes, settings, preferences, and similar in-app content are stored on your device. If an app offers cloud sync and you turn it on, this content is also stored on our backend, encrypted in transit, and tied to an anonymous account identifier — not your real name.
Advertising data
Most of our apps display ads served by third-party mobile ad networks such as Google AdMob and similar partners. When ads are shown, these partners may collect or receive:
- Your device's Advertising Identifier (IDFA on iOS, AAID on Android)
- IP address and coarse location derived from it
- Device model, operating system version, and language
- App-level events such as ads viewed, ads clicked, and time spent in ad-supported screens
This data is used to serve ads, measure ad performance, prevent fraud, and — when you allow it — personalize the ads you see. Each ad network has its own privacy policy that governs how it handles this data.
On iOS, apps that wish to track you across other apps and websites must ask for permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. You can revoke this permission at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
On Android, you can reset or delete your Advertising ID and opt out of personalized ads in Settings → Privacy → Ads.
Purchases and subscriptions
Some apps offer in-app purchases or recurring memberships. Payments are processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not receive or store your credit card number, billing address, or full payment details. We do receive transaction-level information from Apple or Google — such as the product purchased, the transaction date, and a receipt or token used to verify that the purchase is valid — so that we can unlock the corresponding entitlement (for example, the ad-free experience) in the app.
Crash and diagnostic data
When an app crashes, the operating system or a crash-reporting service may send us a crash log so we can fix the bug. These logs contain technical information about the crash (such as a stack trace, OS version, and device model) but do not include personal information.
Support correspondence
If you contact us through the Email us button on our support page, we will see your email address and the contents of your message, and we keep those messages for as long as we need to help you.
Information we do not collect
- We do not collect your name, phone number, contacts, photos, microphone audio, or precise location unless an individual app explicitly asks for one of these for a specific feature, with your permission.
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data.
- We do not use any data we receive to build advertising profiles about you outside of our apps.
How we use information
Data the apps collect — directly or through our advertising partners — is used to:
- Provide the features you are using.
- Sync your data across your own devices, if you have enabled sync.
- Show and measure ads (in ad-supported apps).
- Verify and deliver in-app purchases and memberships.
- Diagnose and fix crashes and bugs.
- Respond to support requests you send us.
Third-party services
Depending on the specific app, we may use the following categories of third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy:
- App distribution and payments: Apple App Store, Google Play.
- Mobile advertising networks: for example, Google AdMob and similar ad partners used to serve and measure ads in our free apps.
- Crash and performance monitoring: services used to receive crash logs and diagnostics.
- Cloud hosting: if an app offers cloud sync, the synced data is stored with a reputable cloud hosting provider.
The specific third parties in use can change over time as we build and update apps. Each app's App Store and Google Play listing reflects the data collection in effect for that app.
Your choices
- Opt out of personalized ads. Use the iOS or Android settings described above.
- Remove ads entirely. Where offered, an in-app membership purchase removes ads in that app.
- Decline app permissions. When an app asks for camera, photos, microphone, location, or notifications, you can decline. The app will still work for any feature that does not require that permission.
- Delete your data. Uninstalling an app removes data stored on your device. For any cloud-synced data, contact us through the Email us button on our support page and we will delete it within 30 days.
Children
Our apps are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If an individual app is rated for children, it will follow the additional requirements of Apple's Kids Category and Google Play's Designed for Families program, including restrictions on advertising. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Data retention
On-device data persists until you uninstall the app. Cloud-synced data is kept until you delete it or request deletion. Advertising and crash data are retained according to the policies of the partners that process them. Support email is kept for as long as it is useful for ongoing support.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example, the EU, UK, California, or other regions with comprehensive privacy laws), you may have rights to access, correct, port, or delete personal data we hold about you, and to object to certain types of processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the Email us button on our support page and we will respond within the time period required by the applicable law.
International users
The apps are available worldwide. By using the apps you agree that limited data described above may be processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the apps.
